Song Joong Ki delights fans at Novena Square 2

For a celebrity who doesn’t sing or dance, it’s always a wonder how they’re able to capture the hearts and attention of their fans whenever they meet them overseas. Yet, for 26-year-old actor Song Joong Ki, he had no problem working the crowd at his Open Press Conference last Saturday on May 26.

Although visibly quiet (possibly tired after his Close-Door Press Conference earlier in the day), he still gamely answered questions from the media in the presence of hundreds of fans that showed up that afternoon. Due to his appearance in a majority of episodes of currently airing popular variety series Running Man, he was asked various questions from which runner he felt was the strongest to whether or not he would be appearing on the show again. Despite the fact that the purpose of his visit was to promote himself as a solo artiste, he still patiently answered similar questions on the topic, much to the delight of the fans.

Sharing his different experiences in Singapore both during the Mnet Asian Music Awards last year as well as this time around, he confessed that he enjoyed walking around freely instead of being chauffeured. On his first night in Singapore, he even managed to jog around Marina Bay Sands.

Although not all fans present had bought tickets to his first official showcase Thrill & Love the following day, they were still thrilled by Joong Ki responding to their shouts and waves as he happily obliged in sneaking in poses and smiles for their pictures in between questions.

For avid Gu Yong Ha fans, you’ll be glad to know that the actor has currently wrapped up the filming of his upcoming movie Wolf Boy and will embark on his next drama project entitled Nice Guy in a month’s time.
