Nothing can Rain on this man’s parade
At first glance, Jung Ji Hoon—better known by his moniker, Rain—appears to be a man of few words.
However, we soon found out that the 35-year-old singer-actor was feeling a little under the weather at his press conference last Thursday evening at Sentosa. Despite that, he managed to answer several questions from the media, and we also spotted him shooting a couple of smiles at a few fan board-wielding fans at the back of the room.
With 2017 marking the 19th year since his debut, it’s no wonder Rain commands a presence like no other. Here are some things we found out from the star himself:
Local delicacies? He loves them all!
Although he was fully suited up in a blazer and pants during the press conference, everyone knows Rain has one of the best physiques around! So imagine how envious we were when he told everyone that he’s actually a pretty versatile eater, and enjoys all sorts of Singaporean cuisine. Since it’s been over a year since he last visited our little island, we sure hope he managed to eat his fill here on this trip! We’re sure he has no problem maintaining his bod…
Back on our screens…very soon!
It’s no secret that Rain has been working with f(x)‘s Victoria on a new Chinese drama titled ‘Endless August’ (slated to air this year! Stay tuned!), but did you know that he’s also prepping himself for a new movie in 2017 as well? It looks like we’ll be seeing a lot of his handsome mug on our screens this year, but really, who’s complaining?
Big plans for RAIN Company in the works
If you’re still sore about MBLAQ (the group is on indefinite hiatus as leader G.O is currently serving his military enlistment), here’s some good news—Rain announced that he a new boy group under his own entertainment company is currently in the works. It looks like we can expect this new debut within this year or the next, and we’re really curious to see what plans Rain has for the group!
His upcoming comeback is less than two weeks away!
With his comeback set for January 15, it’s amazing that Rain still has time to bring ‘The Squall’ to Singapore! Somebody give this man a prize already. He revealed that his upcoming title track will be an R&B number, and that PSY is one of the producers on this album. Seeing how PSY is big on retro and EDM, it’ll definitely be interesting to see what his involvement brings to Rain’s new work.
Dinoseoul would like to thank Faith & D Entertainment for the media invitation. Don’t forget to check out more pictures from Rain ‘The Squall’ Tour in Singapore Press Conference on our Facebook page here.
